Maple Pecan Pie submitted by Brian Kirk of Tyrone, GA
“Rich Pecan Pie with a hint of Maple- Easy to make and easier to eat!"
Ingredients:
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup maple syrup
Dash of salt
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry (pie) shell
Directions:
1.
Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well.
2.
Sprinkle pecans evenly in pastry shell.
3.
Pour syrup mixture over pecans.
4.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
5.
Reduce oven heat to 375 degrees and bake 35 minutes or until set.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
Pecan & Pear Salad submitted by Dee Kellogg of Eufaula, AL
“A wonderful blend of spinach, pears, roasted pecans & gorgonzola cheese!" This pear and pecan salad is an elegant and flavorful start to any meal.
Ingredients:
2 Ripe Pears
1 Bunch of fresh spinach or mixed spring salad greens

1 cup Crumbled gorgonzola cheese (feta can be replaced)
Raspberry salad Dressing
Directions:
1.
On individual salad bowls/plates place a handful of spinach
2.
Slice pears thinly place on top
3.
Drizzle raspberry dressing on top
4.
Chop up roasted pecans and sprinkle on top
5.
Sprinkle gorgonzola cheese on top
Salad can be plated individually or served in a large salad bowl. Best if you refrigerate bowl/plate prior to preparing. Salad can be prepared ahead.




Pecan Clusters
“The most decadent chocolate pecan candy that can be made in 10 minutes."
Ingredients:
1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 1/2 pounds milk chocolate kisses or milk chocolate chips
5 cups sugar
1 (13-ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
Directions:
1.
Combine marshmallow creme and kisses in large bowl.
2.
Combine sugar, milk and butter in large saucepan and bring to boil. Cook 8 minutes.
3.
Pour syrup mixture over creme and kisses, stirring well to blend.
4.
Stir in pecans.
5.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Makes about 12 dozen. Great for sharing at potlucks and get-togethers.





Pecan Pie Bars submitted by Dee Kellogg of Eufaula, AL
“ If you like pecan pie, you’ll love these bars!"
A recipe you can pass down for generations.
Ingredients:
2 cups All-purpose flour
1 cup Packed brown sugar
½ cup Butter
½ cup Margarine
5 Eggs
1 cup Dark corn syrup
¾ cup White sugar
1 pinch Salt
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter and margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Press into 9x13 inch pan and bake for 10 minutes
4. Combine remaining ingredients except pecans and blend well. Stir in pecans. Pour over baked crust.
5. Reduce oven temperature to 275 degrees. Bake 50 minutes or until set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
